Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic for Veterans

The Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic (MVLC) for veterans, located at the Milwaukee County Veterans' Service Office, is available on select Mondays from 4 pm to 6 pm. It offers free brief legal advice and referral on civil legal matters including but not limited to evictions & housing law; eviction records cleanup; debt/collections; small claims; guardianship; probate; and more. No family law attorneys are available at this clinic. No criminal or employment discrimination.

In-person walk-in clinic. Sign-in begins at 3:30 pm.
Sign-in Procedure: during sign-in, people are signed up in order for intake purposes.
Service Procedure: people sign-in for different types of services. People are NOT necessarily taken in for services in the same order they sign-in.
Please be kind, patient, and calm with the volunteer law students and lawyers providing the service. Everyone is doing their best to serve as many people as possible during these much-needed clinics.
