The Community Immigration Law Center (CILC) offers representation for detained non-citizens in removal proceedings. The representation covers all aspects of immigration court proceedings, including:

  • in detention and after release
  • master calendar hearings
  • bond proceedings
  • competency hearings
  • merits hearings
  • USCIS applications and proceedings
  • BIA appeals
  • remands from the BIA
  • state court proceedings related to immigration relief

DETENTION PROJECT: If you have a loved one who has been detained by immigration, first, please call the Office of Immigrant Affairs right away. You can reach them at 608-242-6260. Then please reach out to CILC at 608-640-4444. As a part of CILC's local rapid response protocol, they will be in touch with family members as soon as possible.
